Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PsychicTrainer(“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use PsychicTrainer.comand our games (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information.If you create an account, we collect your email address (used for passwordless “magic link” sign-in) and the username you choose.

Guest identifier. If you play without an account, we assign a random guest identifier stored in a cookie so we can save your progress and statistics on your device. If you later sign in, we may merge your guest history into your account.

Gameplay data. We store the data you generate by playing — for example predictions and outcomes, win/loss results, session history, scores and statistics, and, for remote-viewing sessions, your sketches, typed notes, descriptor tags, self-grades, and the target reference for that session.

Voice notes.The optional voice-note feature uses your browser’s built-in speech-recognition capability (the Web Speech API). Depending on your browser, your spoken audio may be transmitted to and processed by your browser vendor’s speech service (for example, Google in Chrome) to produce a text transcript. We do not record or store audio; we store only the resulting text if you keep it in your notes.

Usage and device information. We and our analytics provider automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions, via cookies and similar technologies.

We do notrequest or store your precise geographic location. In remote-viewing exercises, any map or Street View “location” is a randomly selected target — it is not your location.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • keep you signed in and maintain your session (authentication);
  • identify guests so progress and statistics persist on your device; and
  • measure usage and improve the Service (analytics).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent sign-in or the saving of guest progress.

3. How we use information

  • to provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • to save your progress, compute statistics, and power leaderboards;
  • to authenticate you and secure your account;
  • to generate shareable images, videos, and session links that you request;
  • to understand usage and improve the Service; and
  • to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with:

  • Service providers who operate the Service on our behalf, including Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and Google Maps / Street View (imagery for remote-viewing). These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
  • Other users / the public, when you choose to share. Your username and aggregate results may appear on public leaderboards, and anyone with a session link you share can view that session’s contents.
  • Legal and safety recipients, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA). You can update your username in your account, and you can permanently delete your account — along with all of your sessions, statistics, and profile — at any time from the Session Historyscreen using the “Delete my account” option. You may also request access to or deletion of your data through our contact form. You may opt out of analytics by using browser controls or the Google Analytics opt-out.

7. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International users

We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws. By using the Service, you consent to such processing and transfer.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
